Kinkon boasts an elegant aroma and rich flavor. Kinkon Junmai Ginjo Edo Sake Oji is brewed with ingredients sourced entirely in Tokyo. It pairs well with Western cuisine, including meat dishes and carpaccio.

Founded in 1596, Toshimaya Honten is the oldest sake store in Tokyo. The store produces and sells its signature brand, Kinkon, a local Tokyo sake. Meiji Shrine and Kanda Myojin Shrine use Kinkon as the sacred sake they offer to the gods. In 2020, the store opened Toshimaya Sake Shop, a combination sake shop and izakaya pub that offers a modern take on the Edo izakaya.
